About the Event
The Heart at Play Foundation (THP) invites you to its 3rd annual benefit event— The Runway Specialé: A Story of Beauty— a fashion show where our brothers and sisters with special needs are taking the spotlight. The show will also showcase youth volunteers from UP Diliman, Ateneo de Manila, DLSU, UST, Xavier School, ICA, St. Jude and Poveda. Guest performers include Lance Raymundo, Legit Status, The Crew, Jensen and the Flips, DJ Rammy Bitong, Kid Lightning Crew and Juvenile Dance Crew.
Established in 2011, THP has since been providing children and adults with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and other developmental disabilities with free dance movement therapy . This weekly therapy helps marginalized Persons with special needs lead a more active productive life.
Join us on June 18, 2017, 6pm at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater, Ateneo De Manila University as we rediscover true beauty. Witness advocates walk the talk, sing, dance and share stories to honor tales of hope, strength and love.
