About the Event

Rosevie Sevilla, made her humble beginnings under the tutelage of the big art houses in the country, from the Metropolitan Museum of Manila and to the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP)in the  90’s, Rosevie was one of the artist/facilitators who conducted their various summer programs and art classes. From there she moved on and started gaining for herself more experience and confidence as a fledgling apprentice artist, working under different masters who ventured into bringing art classes to small groups to various event venues, like at the Dasmariñas Village Country Club, and in bigger art programs for children at malls around the metro like at SM Storyland, at the beginning of the millennium.

Teacher Rosevie, as she is more commonly referred to by her students, started catering to a newer market, now not only teaching art to children but to parents, as well, and began holding private art tutorial classes in Ayala Alabang Village, Forbes Park, Dasmariñas Village, and at a handful of condominiums in the Makati area --- though she had always been connected to prestigious schools and universities, from teaching young pre-schoolers at the International Center for Beginning Beginners (ICBB), then to older kids in Ateneo de Manila and in the Chinese International School Manila (CISM), and now to  more mature kids at De La Salle College of St. Benilde.

Having spent half of her life teaching the art programs and workshops created by other great masters before her, Teacher Rosevie is now spreading her wings for her own maiden flight. Through the past twenty-six years, she has earned her place as a sorceress in her own field of expertise and is now ready to pass on the magic of her craft to a new group of younger apprentices.

Through Teacher Rosevie’s Visual Art Skills Program, Teacher Rosevie will be sharing her experiences starting with a couple of workshops in May at her new found venue at #142 J. Elizalde Place, BF Homes Paranaque. Sign up from April 17 to 20 to avail of early bird discount.
