About the Event
Enrollment for Star Workshops, a summertime creative experience on music, theater, design and dance, is now on going at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB).
Now on its 16th year, the lessons offered by the Office of Culture and Arts (OCA) are facilitated by certified trainers and senior student-artists.
Sessions will be held for six Saturdays, to start on April 29, 2017. A concluding recital is scheduled for June 10, 2017.
Available classes are Voice A and B, Ballet A and B, Hip-Hop A and B, Theater A and B, and even Advanced and Basic Guitar.
Shadowplay is available for those 13 and above. It will be held on Mondays, from May 8 to 29, 2017, from 1 to 5 p.m.
The Production and Stage Management workshop is being offered for teens 14 years and up. It covers stage and production management, design for theater (costume, lights, sets and props), and technical directing. Schedule for classes will be on May 4, 11, 18, and June 1, and 8 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on June 3 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Fees are: A Classes (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.), for children ages 8 to 12, P3,500; B Classes (1 to 4 p.m.), for students 13 and above, P4,000.
To reserve a space, submit an accomplished application form with two 2x2 ID photos and a nonrefundable P500 downpayment to the OCA Office.
