Musicartes restages its first Broadway rock opera Godspell, this May 6-7, 12-14 & 19-21 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium of RCBC Plaza.
Led by the international hit, "Day By Day," Godspell is directed by Aliw Hall of Fame awardee Dr. Anton Juan and features a powerhouse cast with Jef Flores, Myke Salomon, Shiela Valderrama-Martinez, Caisa Borromeo, Poppert Bernadas, Topper Fabregas, Abi Sulit, Maronne Cruz, Rhenz Gabalonzo, Gab Pangilinan and Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo.
Godspell, from the same creators of the megahit Wicked, was the first major musical theatre offering from 3-time Grammy and Academy Award winner Stephen Schwartz, taking the world by storm.
Boasting a score with chart topping songs, a book by a visionary playwright (John-Michael Tebelak), and a feature film, Godspell is a sensation that continues to touch audiences with its timeless theme revolving around the parables of Jesus Christ and his message of world peace and love.
Ejay Yatco is Music Director with production design by Otto Hernandez, choreography by Dexter Santos & John Batalla as Lights Designer.
