About the Event

March is usually known for the return of the summer heat, the graduating students and the start of Lent. But in the Ateneo, it’s known for something else; during this time of year, hundreds of students from across the country flock to the 1,000-plus capacity Henry Lee Irwin Theater for an event that is unlike any other. Game changing, ground breaking, and nation building: this is the National Student-Investor’s Convention. NSInC will be happening on the 25th of March, 2017 at the Henry Lee Irwin Theatre in the Ateneo De Manila University, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Hosted by the Ateneo Management Economics Organization, the National Student-Investor’s Convention, or NSInC for short, is an annual event that aims to tackle the organization’s core competencies: financial literacy and impact investing. As said in the event name, it is a national event; thus, the students that flock to Ateneo come from different backgrounds, whether they come from Luzon, Visayas or Mindanao, or if they came from public or private schools, they gather for an event that can shape the leaders of tomorrow, today.

“Game changing, ground breaking, nation building.” This is the theme for this year’s NSInC. Being a student-investor’s convention, investing is the absolute forefront of everything that NSInC stands for. It captures investing, and financial literacy in a language easily understood for the current generation of millennials. From the speakers that inspire the attendees, to the topics that tackle the different issues of impact investing, and even in the partners that sponsor the event, the day is all about the art of putting your money in the right place, and truly knowing the potential in all of us to do such things with our money.
