About the Event

Courage Asia, visits key cities around the nation by bringing DINE Philippines, a Food Business and Tourism Caravan to locations such as Albay, Bacolod, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Camarines Sur, Cavite, Cebu, Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, Pampanga, South Cotabato, and Zamboanga City. With the theme of “Inspiring Great Food Business Ideas by Thinking Big”, the caravan is the ultimate source of topics related to the food industry with ideas ranging from topics such as trends, culinary practices, agriculture and supply chain, and practical operations concerns in running a food business.  Today, Courage Asia brings DINE Philippines to the “Pilgrimage Destination” in Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental on March 2-3, 2017. The two-day seminar features a powerhouse cast of speakers with expertise in the culinary and hospitality industries. The speakers have been invited to give their insights on the latest trends in the food and tourism industries, highlight local ingredients and cooking techniques, and even conduct a cooking showdown with the use of the various local ingredients.

Chef Jam Melchor (Healthy Eats Manila) gives his insight on The Rice of Heirloom Rice; Chef Waya Wijangco (Gourmet Gypsy Arts Café) speaks about Breaking the Boundaries on Sustainability; Chef Johann Dagandara (Johann’s Cuisine) talks about Creating Local Cuisine That’s Truly World Class; Chef consultant Datu Pendatun talks about Mainstreaming the Halal Cuisine; Chef Chino San Jose (Chippens Davao) speaks on the Art & Science of Catering; Chef Kalel Demetrio (Liquid Maestro) speaks about 5 Remarkable Underrated Local Ingredients for Your Drink List; Adolf Aran, Jr. (Courage Asia) speaks about Trends and Blends in the F&B industry, and Effective Restaurant Marketing Strategies; Guillermo “Ige” Ramos (Republic of Taste Network) gives a talk on The Filipino Gastronomy in Today’s Culinary Map; Jairus Ferrer (iFarm, Pronic Foods) speaks on The Economics of Agriculture: The Farm-to-Table Phenomenon.
