About the Event
The Central Board of Students will again hold its principal flagship project entitled, “Load ‘Em Up!” on January 21, 2017 at the Claret School of Quezon City Quadrangle, aiming to promote OPM (Original Pilipino Music) and EDM (Electronic Dance Music) to appreciate and support our local music scene.
The Central Board of Students (CBS) is the official student council of the High School Unit of Claret School of Quezon City. For the past 39 years, it has promoted interaction and harmonious relationships among the students, providing opportunities to train and develop initiative and sense of responsibility within the academe. The student council has continuously contributed to the growth of its students by mobilizing them to have a greater influence holistically on the constructive changes of the school, community, and its country, by organizing and conducting projects revolving around these objectives by means of leadership training, talent development, and social empowerment.
Now on its 13th year, the Load ‘Em Up XIII will feature some of the latest rising stars in the local music scene such as Jensen and the Flips, MilesExperience, Sud, and Microphone Mechanics. To top it all off, Celebrity DJ Patty Tiu a.k.a DEUCE who is ranked #27 in the DJane magazine worldwide (2015) and is the very first Filipino Female DJ to represent the Philippines for Zouk Out Prelude, will be showcasing her musical prowess to end the night. Deuce has shared the stage with numerous notable artists such as David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Martin Solveig, Laidback, Kaskade and The Chainsmokers. Patty Tiu’s performance on stage along with her unique musical taste guarantees that you will be experiencing a musical journey like no other!
