About the Event

If you are a young adult (12 to 18 years old) with a knack for writing and storytelling, join the Ayala Museum’s Basic Creative Writing for Teens workshop. Tap your creative juices and hone your writing skills in the company of a facilitator and fellow aspiring writers. By the end of this workshop, you should be well on your way to writing your first story or poem.

Mina V. Esguerra is an author and publisher of romance fiction. She blogs about her publishing experiments at minavesguerra.com.

Mina V. Esguerra writes contemporary romance, young adult, and new adult novellas. She has a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Ateneo de Manila University and a master’s degree in Development Communication from the University of the Philippines.

She is the president of communications firm Bronze Age Media, development communication consultant, indie publisher, professional editor, wife, and mother.

She created the workshop series “Author at Once” for writers and publishers and #romanceclass for aspiring romance writers. Her young adult/fantasy trilogy Interim Goddess of Love is a college love story featuring gods from Philippine mmythology. Her contemporary romance novellas won the Filipino Readers’ Choice awards for Chick Lit in 2012 (Fairy Tale Fail) and 2013 (That Kind of Guy).

The workshop fee is P 5,000.00 inclusive of handouts, materials, snacks, a certificate, one day free admission to the museum and one day free access to the library.  The deadline for reservations is on April 24, 2016. Early bird, museum and Acentives members can avail of a 10-percent discount.
