About the Event

Premiered in July this year and Philippine Stagers Foundation’s (PSF) ‘Cory ng EDSA: A Filipino Musicale’ continues to gain raves from critics and audiences alike.

Cindy Liper still takes on the role of Cory Aquino, the most challenging for her ever. She will still be supported by a powerful cast, PSF’s homegrown talents, the likes of Patrick Libao as the fearless journalist who chronicled the former President’s life, the Aliw Awards nominee for Best Actor Jordan Ladra as the husband of a suspected rebel, Adelle Ibarrientos-Lim as Elsie the COMELEC volunteer, another Aliw Awarrds nominee for Best Actor Kierwin Larena is back to assume the role of a balik-bayan poll-watcher named Jason, an Aliw Awardee for best child performer Gabby Bautista, an Aliw Award nominee for best director Chris Lim as Lt. Dalusong, Alex Dorola alternating as Rey, Monique Azerreda as Anette, Jomar Bautista alternating as Lt. Dalusong plus a PSFs ensemble.

The writer and director of this longest-running all-original Filipino hit musical is no other than Aliw Awardee for best director and also acting in the said production is Atty. Vince M. Tañada. Its stage design is from the creative imagination of Jeff Ambrosio and choreography by John Paul San Antonio.

Today, it announces its Manila shows slated on September 17, 18 (SM North - 8am, 11am, 2pm, 5pm), 24 (SM Sta. Mesa - 8am, 11am, and 2pm), October 1 (Teatro Marikina - 8am, 11am, 2pm), and October 23 (SM Sta. Mesa - 8am, 11am, and 2pm), respectively.
