Disney's The Lion King
March 18 to May 20 (The Theatre at Solaire)
Michael Cassel Group in association with Disney Theatrical Productions announces the first international tour of the world’s #1 musical, Disney’s THE LION KING, to premiere in Manila in March 2018 with additional engagements in Singapore, Korea, Taiwan and South Africa.
Lion King, which begins its Manila run on March 18, 2018 at The Theatre at Solaire, is the stage adaptation of the 1994 Disney film of the same name. It follows Simba, a young lion born into the royal family, who flees their land after his father Mufasa is killed by his uncle, Scar. When he grew up, he hears the plea from the inhabitants of his land, thus begins his mission of taking down an enemy and fulfilling his destiny to be a king.

May 26 (Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo, Cultural Center of the Philippines)
GLORIFICAMUS TE, a celebration of excellent choral music at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP).
The concert aims to emphasize the main purpose of the choirs: to serve in liturgical celebration through music ministries, to maintain excellence in choral singing and to continue to inspire people.
Nickelodeon Slime Cup 2018

If Slime is your middle name and silly challenges are totally your game, we want YOU – the ultimate SUPER SLIME FAN – to join us at the Nickelodeon Slime Cup 2018 on May 26 at SM Mall of Asia concert grounds.
Nickelodeon Slime Cup is the Slimiest festival packed with games and action. Held in partnership with Skycable the Nickelodeon Slime Cup encourages an active lifestyle and promises tons of slimy games for kids aged 4 years and above. Admission is free.
MWF 2: Maki-Werstling, ‘Wag Matakot”
May 27 (UP Bahay ng Alumni, Quezon City)
After its highly successful and much-talked about debut last April, Manila Wrestling Federation (MWF) – the country’s hottest live athletic entertainment company – marches on with its fun, family-friendly and Pinoy-flavored brand of professional wrestling with “MWF 2: Maki-Wrestling, ‘Wag Matakot” at the UP Bahay ng Alumni, Diliman, Quezon City on May 27. Show starts at 6 PM.
The evening’s main event features the company’s two top stars: the freedom-loving Robin Sane against the patriotic Mr. Lucha, kicking off a grand tournament to crown the first-ever MWF Champion in December, which is set to be the country’s most-coveted prize in sports and entertainment.
