Prepare yourselves to Jam because one of the biggest KPOP and OPM Crossovers is about to happen this coming 30th of October 2021. Now on its 9th installment, HallyOPM is back again this year for more exciting performances with HALLYOPM: Love Letters.
This exciting event is brought to you by the University of the Philippines Society of Students for Korean Popular Culture, also known as HallyUP, while celebrating its 10th year anniversary as an organization promoting Korean popular culture in the Philippines. Make sure to bring with you enough ice as the HallyOPM: Love Letters will surely turn the heat with its exciting lineup of performances prepared just for YOU.
With the goal of promoting both Korean and Filipino pop cultures through Hallyu(Korean Wave) and OPM (Filipino Music), HallyOPM was developed during HallyUP’s pioneer days. And this year’s HallyOPM: Love Letters is made extra special with dazzling performances and alluring voices from Amiel Sol, Jea Song, Joshua Kim, Miu, and Kamara. Added to this list that will make you dance as well are Principum PH and Wildcards. You will also witness how talented the performers from different organizations such as Annyeong PNU HanMunSa, KEEP UP, UP Arirang, and your very own HallyUP.
Throughout the course of HallyUP’s decade-long of executing its mission to promote Korean popular culture, HallyUP still manages every time to remember the power of performing to help people in need. In line with this, HallyOPM: Love Letters will be an online fundraising concert for the Little Sisters of the Abandoned Elderly. Currently, their financial capabilities are restricted due to the pandemic and they are in need of food, medical supplies, and sanitation materials for the elderly.
