Because of the pandemic, it has been a long time since we’ve last gathered at a convention venue, surrounded by so many books on sale. Fortunately, most of our favorite book fairs, such as the Manila International Book Fair, continue to bring us delightful titles with slashed prices through their online platforms!
This year’s MIBF will go live via manilabookfair.com from September 30 to October 4. While their library of books is not yet available on the website and details about the 5-day event are scarce, bookworms can expect a rich roster of titles as well as virtual events related to the country’s publishing industry.
The Manila International Book Fair is dubbed as the largest and longest-running book fair in the Philippines. Before the pandemic, the annual book fair was often held at the SMX Convention Center in the Mall of Asia. It was last year in November when the MIBF was first held online.
