Experience the Most Authentic Oktoberfest in Manila at Solaire

Be part of the much-awaited and most authentic Oktoberfest in the country at The Tent in Solaire this October!

Once again, Solaire and German Club Manila have teamed up to bring you the most authentic Oktoberfest celebration in Manila!

Happening on October 17 to 19, German Club Manila’s 81st Oktoberfest will bring the lively German celebration to The Tent at Solaire, which will be transformed to vividly resemble the annual Oktoberfest celebration in Munich, Germany.

In a media preview held at The Forum in Solaire, gents in lederhosen and ladies in dirndls served guests a sumptuous array of German delicacies to pair with the free flowing Weihenstephaner beers as a sneak peek on what's coming to the festive event this October.

For appetizers, a basket of oven-fresh German breads and pretzels were presented with a platter of German cold-cuts and cheese. A Munich style sausage salad and German potato salad were also served for starters.

For the main course, an assortment of meats and sausage samplers were served, each with a distinct flavor of its own. Pork schnitzel, Swabian red bratwurst, Kaesekrainer and veal sausages with sauerkraut all share a mouth-watering platter, with a pot of Weisswurst on the side ready to be peeled off and dipped in different sauces. Some dishes are even closer to the Filipino palates like the roast chicken, meat loaf, and the crispy pork knuckles.

For dessert, an apple and walnut strudel was served beautifully in a cake-like fashion, with cups of vanilla sauce and ice cream on the side for those who fancy it sweeter. Kaiserschmarn is also on the lineup, a dessert made with shredded rum raisin pancakes with berry compote and vanilla sauce.

“This year’s 81st Oktoberfest will continue to be authentic and put the spotlight on the best ofGerman culture. Following a very successful Oktoberfest celebration last year, we are thrilled to be hosting once again German Club Manila’s Oktoberfest celebrations and look forward to continuing this partnership.” This according to Solaire’s Vice President of Food & Beverage Knut Becker.

Tobias Rast, German Club Manila’s President also stated, “The German Club Manila is excited to celebrate this year’s Oktoberfest celebration once again with Solaire. The previous year broke our own records. We look forward to a more dynamic and vibrant celebration of the German culture through the Oktoberfest celebration.”

With rich and authentic German delicacies on the table, and a program filled with exciting entertainment, this year’s Oktoberfest at Solaire is a can’t miss experience! Ticket prices range from P3,750 to P8,030, available at the Oktoberfest website. You may also call the German Club at 894 2899 or 818 4236.
