CCP Brings Art & Culture to Your Homes with These Upcoming Events

Do not miss these performances starting October 30!

Despite the pandemic hindering our usual arts and culture consumption habits, the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) continues to provide us with inspiring performances and shows on the online stage.

While we wait for that magical moment when we can finally watch theater shows and concerts the way we used to, here are some of the online events that the CCP has prepared for us in the upcoming days.

PPO Music Chamber Concert

The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) will bring their music to our homes, wherever we are in the world, with their Music Chamber Concert. PPO Music Director Maestro Yoshikazu Fukumura curates a fine selection of classical music. It will be headlined by Franz Anton Hoffmeisterā€™s Violin and Cello DuoĀ Op.6Ā No.1, and Gioachino Rossiniā€™s ā€‹ā€‹ā€‹ā€‹Sonata for 2 Violins, Cello,Ā and Double Bass No.2Ā in A Major. It will stream for free on October 30, 8PM at the PPO Facebook page and CCP YouTube channel.

Arts eXpress Childrenā€™s Biennale

Batang Sining is part of the CCPā€™s program for children. It started as a workshop in 1989 where children are introduced to different art forms and helping them discover their creative expressions.

Through the years, it has become a summer arts workshop, and with the Childrenā€™s Biennale, CCP launches the Batang Sining Facebook page as an online platform for the development of childrenā€™s creative expression, as well as a place for collaboration.
