Film Cycle of Flicks Directed by Women, Featured at Instituto Cervantes Intramuros this March

Let us celebrate International Women's Month!

With all the activities lined up for the annual celebration of women's achievements, raising of awareness against bias, and promoting gender-based equality, the upcoming Espacio Feminino happening at the Instituto Cervantes Intramuros is a film cycle worthy of your activity checklist.

It features flicks by Filipino and Spanish women filmmakers to showcase women's contributions to the film industry. The movies will be shown on the Saturdays of March starting at 4PM, with free entrance on a first come, first serve basis.

Here's the schedule:

March 9        Los amores cobardes (Carmen Blanco, 2018).

March 16      A palabra xusta (Miguel Piñeiro, 2016)

March 23      Short films by female directors

March 30     Con el viento (Meritxell Colell, 2017)
