Description:
London-based couple, Joanne Giles and her Danish boyfriend David Otzen arrive in the towering city of Tokyo, the most densely populated city in Japan. Battling the crowds, heat and humidity, they race to navigate the back streets and boulevards of the city, visiting glossy tourist attractions and exploring its hidden delights all in an effort to win a luxury holiday stay. With twelve hours to negotiate this vast city and complete eight required challenges, the couple wastes no time. Racing from one location to the next they manage to visit the huge Tsukiji Fish Market, admire the statues and the cherry blossom in Ueno Park, make an offering to the gods at Thunder Gate, participate in a round with the famous sumo wrestlers, work in a noodle bar, perform a spot of karaoke in public and pick up fashion tips from the trendy young shoppers who hang out in the hip Shibuya district.
