Metro Manila Film Festival film Die Beautiful will be getting a spinoff series called Born Beautiful, and it will now be centering Trisha’s best friend, Barbs!
Christian Bables, who played Barbs in the film, is set to reprise his role in the show which is set to air on Cignal Entertainment. So if you’re one of those itching to know what happened to good ol’ funny and faithful Barbs at the end of Die Beautiful, the upcoming show is set to give you all the answers!

Die Beautiful narrates the events that happened after the death of Trisha (Paolo Ballesteros), a transgender woman whose last wish is to die beautiful and to be presented as a different celebrity on every night of her wake.
The film won Ballesteros and Bables their Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor Awards in the recent MMFF. It also competed at the Tokyo Film Festival, where it received the Audience Choice Award and Best Actor Award for Ballesteros.
