RTL CBS Asia Entertainment Network announced that it has secured exclusive regional pay TV broadcast rights for the 42nd People’s Choice Awards®, the only major awards show voted on entirely by the public for fan favourites in movies, music, television and digital. Hosted by Jane Lynch, the 2016 People's Choice Awards® will air live on the network’s general entertainment channel RTL CBS Entertainment HD from the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on 07 January 2016 at 9am(8am JKT/BKK).
The complete list of nominees is available on http://www.peopleschoice.com/pca/awards/nominees. Fans may cast their votes in 15 Movie categories, 31 TV categories, 13 Music categories and six Digital categories. Voting on http://vote.peopleschoice.com will be open until 11:59 am (10:59am JKT/BKK) on 04 December 2015.

Among the nominees are shows and stars appearing on RTL CBS Entertainment HD and RTL CBS Extreme HD. James Corden and Stephen Colbert are vying for “Favorite Late Night Talk Show Host.” America’s Got Talent is nominated for “Favorite Competition TV Show,” House of Cards for “Favorite Streaming Series,” Limitless and The Player for “Favorite New TV Drama;” and Beauty and the Beast for “Favorite Network Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show.” Actors in the running for top picks are Matthew Perry (The Odd Couple) for “Favorite Comedic TV Actor,” Lucy Liu (Elementary) for “Favorite Crime Drama TV Actress,” LL Cool J (NCIS: Los Angeles) for “Favorite Crime Drama TV Actor,” and Nick Jonas (Kingdom) for “Favorite Premium Cable TV Actor.”
The Weeknd leads the list of nominees in Music with five nods, including "Favorite Male Artist" and "Favorite Album" for Beauty Behind the Madness. Madonna, who is a two-time winner, has received her seventh and eighth People's Choice nominations, one for "Favorite Music Icon," with Paul McCartney, Prince, Steven Tyler and Stevie Wonder, and the other for "Favorite Female Artist," with Demi Lovato, Lana Del Rey, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift.
