Joel Lambert is back on the Discovery Channel’s Manhunt Season 2

Discovery Channel’s hit escape and evasion series Manhunt with Joel Lambert returns this July with an adrenaline-fuelled new season.

Discovery Channel’s hit escape and evasion series Manhunt With Joel Lambert returns this July with an adrenaline-fuelled new season. This time, the adversaries determined to outsmart former U.S. Navy SEAL Joel Lambert in an extreme version of hide-and-seek include indigenous hunters and even animals, with specialised hunting and tracking skills.

How will Joel’s military background measure up against traditional hunting methods, such as the centuries-old tribal techniques of Mongolia’s nomadic hunters and New Zealand’s Maori warriors, or the keen noses of bloodhounds? Season two of Manhunt With Joel Lambert premieres every Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. (2000 hrs) beginning July 7, exclusively on Discovery Channel (available nationwide on every major cable, DTH, and local provincial operator).

In the previous season, Joel went up against six of the globe’s most formidable tracking agencies including some of Asia’s best such as the Philippines Army Scout Rangers. In the all-new seven-part series, Joel is placed well out of his comfort zone with an unconventional mix of six new military and non-military teams from Mongolia, New Zealand, Scotland, Mexico, Florida and South Carolina. He is given a head start in each episode but depending on the mission, has just 12 to 48 hours to make it to a pre-determined extraction point that only he is aware of. To trace Joel, his opponents are allowed to use any asset available to them in a real world manhunt, while Joel will have to locate anything else he might need beyond a basic survival kit provided to him.

Will Joel’s SEAL background, training, and experience be enough to completely throw his pursuers off course? The hunt is on.

Episodes encore every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m (1300 hrs) and Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (1400 hrs).
