Disney Channel Heats Up This November

Get a double dose of fun with the series premiere of “Upin & Ipin” on November 9 at 3:30pm. Running from Monday to Friday, “Upin & Ipin” is a made-in-Malaysia animated series about a pair of 5-year old Malay Muslim identical twins living with their sister Ros and maternal grandmother, Opah, in a village known as Kampung Durian Runtuh. Together with their friends, Upin and Ipin discover the importance of culture and family values with adventures like searching for treasure, ghost hunting and fasting for the very first time!

From November 12 to 19, 6:30 to 7:30 pm, watch out for the premiere of the exciting reality game show – “My Dad is Better than Your Dad!” This high-energy series features dads and their respective 8 to12-year-olds at the forefront of the action, leading them in exciting larger-than-life challenges testing dad’s strength, intelligence and their ability to work as a team. The triumphant dad struts away with the all-important bragging rights and the opportunity to compete in the "money" round, with a chance to win up to $50,000.
Then magic meets mayhem in the much-awaited Disney Channel Original Movie – “Wizards of Waverly Place the Movie” on November 22 at 7:30pm. Follow the Russo family on a vacation to the Caribbean resort where Jerry and Theresa first met, only to have Alex conjure up a spell that reverses her parents’ fateful first meeting and puts the Russo family’s very existence in question. The movie stars teen sensation Selena Gomez as Alex Russo; David Henrie as Justin Russo; Jake T. Austin as Max Russo; Maria Canals-Barrera as Theresa; and David DeLuise as Jerry. Also starring is Steve Valentine as the parrot-toting Archie.

“Globo Loco” tests your prediction savvy starting November 23 at 6:30pm. Showing every Monday to Thursday at the same timeslot thereafter, this fun and unique British game show will feature two teams of boys and girls as they take turns to predict the outcomes of sometimes crazy challenges. The team with the closest prediction to the outcome walks away with exciting prizes!

Then finally, the “Disney-Pixar Movies Marathon” follows on November 27 and 28, starting at 10:00am for an exciting treat for all you Pixar fans out there! Stay tuned to for your favorite movies like “Toy Story,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters Inc.,” “Ratatouille,” and so much more!
