Pixelmator, a famous cheap alternative to Photoshop, is already available on Mac and iPad, will be releasing a version for iPhone tomorrow.
The app has been on iOS since last year with the release of the iPad version where it is easier to tweak photos since it has a bigger screen. But of course, it just wouldn't be complete without an iPhone app.
Although the iPhone app gets all the features that the iPad app has, it will be getting an upgrade with powerful new features which will include Distort Tools (support for layers, photo retouching and detailed color adjustments) powered by Apple's Metal techonology. According to them, it means "incredibly fast graphics processing tech, mainly used for creating graphics-intense games."
Users who purchased the iPad app will get the Pixelmator for iPhone with no extra charge since it is a "universal app and works seamlessly on iPhone and iPad," as posted on their website.
The app will be available on the App Store tomorrow for $4.99 (P223) only.
