Seems like there's no stopping the wearable tech trend. We've seen fashionable smart accessories, smart bands, smart clothes, and of course smartwatches – which up until recently have been mostly for runners, swimmers, and cyclists. Now, surfers can join the wearable tech trend too as Rip Curl introduces the 'world's first GPS surf watch.'
Rip Curl Search GPS Watch tracks your surf by recording your speed, distance and wave count for each session. It's accompanying Rip Curl Search App allows you to sync your data so you can review each session. The app also has location maps, graphic charts, and image sharing for when you want to show off your best ride.
