After a few weeks of testing on selected Twitter users, Twitter is now rolling out the completely redesigned profile page to all its users.
The update (which makes Twitter closely resemble Facebook) includes a bigger cover photo and profile picture, running tally of favorite tweets, date and year you joined Twitter (bragging rights for early adopters!), and a section devoted to all the photos and videos you've updated.
It also includes a couple of new functions like “pinned tweet”, which allows you to pin one of your tweets to the top of your page. Want to immortalize that witty joke on your Twitter page? Pin it! In addition to pinning tweets, your “best tweets” are now automatically highlighted on your page. “Best tweets” are tweets that receive more engagement and will appear slightly larger than the rest of your tweets.
