Divided into Work, Indulge, and Play sections, a Watch Republic outlet now offers portfolios of selected brands to fit the needs of young customers who know how to work hard, play hard, and indulge.
Work
“We’ve placed smart-casual watches that you’d want to wear everyday under the Work area. Now it houses classics like Zeppelin, Braun, Ingersoll and Cross that fit the lifestyle of the professional market,” April Rabadam, Newtrends International Corporation Marketing Assistant explained.
Ingersoll traces its roots in classic Americana. “Multiple dial is the trademark look of Ingersoll,” April added. Aesthetically quite similar to Ingersoll, Zeppelin is known for its German Engineering and high grade Swiss movement. Cross, likewise, has a classic yet contemporary look, observable in its different styles.
If the above said three brands are classic and intricate, Braun adopts a “less is more” philosophy and is usually minimalistic. It can be considered smart casual, just like the Boss Orange line of Hugo Boss.
Indulge
“Indulge watches are considered investments. These are watches that you wear on special occasions,” April explained.
Kikay girls will enjoy the feminine and glamorous selection of Juicy Couture watches. Embracing the bright and glamorous fun of Los Angeles heritage, Juicy Couture is a casual, luxury brand for It Girls.
If Juicy Couture is girly, Tommy Hilfiger is nautical and preppy. The brand celebrates the essence of Classic American Cool and provides designs that easily go well with different outfits.
Lastly, there’s also Nixon—a premium, cutom-built brand that first gained popularity in action sports industry. It’s available in variegated styles that can be used for both casual and formal occasions.
Play
Under Play are everyday-kind of watch brands that can be worn when going out and having fun with friends and family. The trendy watches of Esprit, Titan, Axis, Giordano and Police, are targeted to those who love having fun and going out to play.

Asked as to what trends are in this year, April answered: “for guys, the trend is silver and leather and for girls, stainless watches in Gold, Rosegold and Two-toned patterns are on trend this season.”
