Team Philippines has done it again at the grand finals of the 13th World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) held at the Westin Bonaventure in downtown, Los Angeles. ABS CBN�s original �Little Big Star� Brightest Star Rhap Salazar won the coveted titles Junior Grand Champion Solo Vocalist of the World, and the Junior Grand Champion Performer of the World. The vocal quartet The Young Voices of Negros won the title Junior Grand Champion Group Vocalists of the World.

Local music fans have been buzzing with anticipation over Nine Inch Nails� August 5 gig at the Araneta Coliseum. As soon as local promoter Splintr opened tickets sales last May, fans have been lining up to snag the much-coveted front row tickets. A box-office employee was reportedly puzzled over the amount of tickets being bought not weeks, but months in advance. Those in the know predict that interest in the tour, which may be NIN�s last, will only increase as the show looms closer.

Asia's Pop Idol Christian Bautista recently sang Pinoy�s most favorite love songs to homesick Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) at the Morden Park in London, and at the Estacio del Nord in Barcelona on Philippine Independence Day. With the concert sponsored by The Filipino Channel (TFC) and Globe, a crowd of thousands was also treated to quick fun games and prizes, and zany stand-up comedy with Pooh in London, and Pretty Tricia in Barcelona.
