At 83% Fresh, this is the higest-scoring live-action film adaptation of a cartoon on Rotten Tomatoes so I thought why not give it a watch and I'm glad I did! Can't believe it's 19 years already since it first aired. There were just some weird and cringey parts that adults may find silly but overall it's family entertainment that's better than expected. Medyo waley lang yung CGI nila Boots and Swiper. Think of funny Indiana Jones for tweens with all the juvenile elements from the TV showand that Quicksand sequence was really hilarious! Anyare pala at nalosyang yung dati kong college crush na si Eva Longoria? Hahah! PooSong.AstronomyNerd.JunglePuzzles.

MI’m not a fan of the cartoon show but I don’t dislike it either. But this is the best adaptation I have seen in a very long while. While the plot may be generic, the execution was extraordinary. And this would not have been as engaging and endearing if not for the brilliant and very charming cast. I especially enjoyed the witty humour and how random and daring it was. All in all, this was refreshing and feel-good. I’m definitely seeing it as many times as I can.
