Fist Fight 

A comedy film directed by Richie Keen and written by Van Robichaux and Evan Susser, it follows two teachers who are challenged to an after-school fight after one of them gets fired. The film stars Ice Cube, Charlie Day, Christina Hendricks, Jillian Bell and Tracy Morgan


 

Hacksaw Ridge 

Directed by Mel Gibson, it is a biographical drama film about Desmond Doss' World War II experience who is an American pacificist combat medic refusing to carry or use a firearm or weapons of any kind. He became the first to be awarded the Medal of Honor during the Battle of Okinawa. It stars Andrew Garfield, Sam Worthington, Luke Bracey, Teresa Palmer, Hugo Weaving, Rachel Griffiths and Vince Vaughn.

Hidden Figures 

Directed by Theodore Melfi, it is based on the non-fiction book of the same name which tells the untold story of Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson who are African-American women working at NASA who served a vital role in the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit. It stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monáe, Kevin Costner, Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons, Mahershala Ali, Aldis Hodge, Glen Powell and Kimberly Quinn.


 

Rings 

A supernatural psychological horror film directed by F. Javier Gutiérrez, it is the third film in The Ring franchise and takes place thirteen years after The Ring (2002). A young woman worries about her boyfriend when he explores a dark subculture surrounding a mysterious video said to kill the watcher after seven days. She sacrifices herself and discovers there is a movie within a movie. It stars Matilda Lutz, Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki and Vincent D'Onofrio.


 

Railroad Tigers 

Directed by Ding Sheng, it tells the story of a railroad worker in China in 1941 who leads a team of freedom fighters against the Japanese in order to get food for the poor. It stars Jackie Chan, Huang Zitao, Wang Kai and Darren Wang. 


 

Brain On Fire 

A biographical drama film directed and written by Gerard Barrett, it is based on Susannah Cahalan's memoir 'Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness". A rising journalist at the New York Post mysteriously has seizures and starts hearing voices. Following a series of outbursts and misdiagnoses, a lucky last-minute intervention by one doctor finally gives her a diagnosis in hopes to rebuild her life. It stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Jenny Slate, Thomas Mann, Tyler Perry, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Richard Armitage.
