Bastille Day

An American action film directed by James Watkins and written by Andrew Baldwin, it tells the story of Michael Mason who is a pickpocket living in Paris who finds himself hunted by a CIA agent when he steals a bag which contains more than just a wallet. They then realize they are both targets of a large-scale conspiracy and must depend on each other in order to take down a common enemy. It stars Idris Elba, Richard Madden, Charlotte Le Bon, Eriq Ebouaney and Jose Garcia.


 

Midnight Special

A science fiction-drama film written and directed by Jeff Nichols, the film revolves around Roy and his 8-year-old son, Alton Meyer, escaping the government and a religious cult after they discover that Alton possesses mysterious powers. The film stars Michael Shannon, Joel Edgerton, Kirsten Dunst, Adam Driver and Jaeden Lieberher.

Unlucky Plaza

Onassis Hernandez (Epy Quizon) is an émigré and a single father living in Singapore. Hernandez' eatery plummeted after a salmonella outbreak has been publicized. With his desperation, he takes hostage a group of citizens in a bungalow and broadcasts his demands on YouTube. As the police and media arrive at the crime scene, Hernandez further pushes the situation into extreme violence.

Ruby Adams (Kennan Kampa) is a young ballerina on scholarship in New York and Johnny Blackwell (Nicholas Galitzine) is a musician playing for money in the subway tunnels.
