As the name implies, Krazy Garlik specializes in delicious food infused with garlic. Aside from having antioxidant properties and the potential to reduce bad cholesterol, garlic has also been touted to possess aphrodisiac qualities.

Lobster Tails with Saffron Risotto
“We have brought together different garlic recipes from all over the world. It’s like a ‘culinary tour’ with garlic as a star ingredient,” says Bistro Group Corporate Chef George Lizares. “For instance, if our guests want Middle Eastern cuisine, there’s the Baba Ghanoush, a sesame paste with roasted eggplant, cumin and garlic, served with bread. For those who have a penchant for Spanish fare, the wine-and-garlic-simmered Oxtail and Chorizo Stew, is a good choice. There is also a wide range of pizzas and pastas for those who love Italian food such as the Garlic Snowflakes Pizza. This house special boasts of a creamy base and topped with plump shrimp, pineapple and garlic flakes. Craving Asian delights? Chef George recommends the Hara Kiri Rice, spicy fried rice with chilis, octopus, shrimps and bacon. And of course, Pinoy palate-pleasers such as the Garlicky Crispy Pata and Pork Rib Adobo are great garlic-based dishes to indulge in,” he expounds.
Aside from the garlic-enhanced soups and salads, other special appetizers include the Creamy Garlic fondue, a creamy garlic and cheese dip served with garlic bread; Garlic and Anchovy Affection, garlic cloves roasted in olive oil and topped with anchovies; and the Duck Salad Chinois—slivers of duck breasts, watercress, lychees, ginger and sesame vinaigrette.
Must-try entrees include the Krazy Garlik Crab (friend alimango crab smothered with garlic and olive oil) and Roast Duck Leg with Black Currant Sauce (comes served with season vegetables and parsleyed potatoes). Enjoy them with the “Krazy Rice” selection which includes the Arroz Mexicana, Chorizo Fried Rice and Chinese Style Fried Rice.
Krazy Garlik’s grill offers the U.S. Black Angus Rib Eye, Striploin, Tenderloin, Australian Lamb Chops and Pork Chops to satisfy meat lovers. To quench your thirst, there is a ‘krazy’ list of fruit juices, kiddy blends, health tonics, smoothies, sodas, coffee, teas and wine.
To finish off a satisfying meal, there are decadent desserts such as Strawberry Panna Cotta, Apple Tart Ala Mode and Crepes Suzette, to name a few. But if you want to put a “krazy” ending to your meal, you might want to sink your teeth into the creamy goodness of Crema Catalana— Spanish-style crème brulee with caramelized garlic cloves.
The 200-seater restaurant’s contemporary interior is both warm and inviting. Guests will be welcomed in a doorway with multi-colored glass blocks and led to hand-painted red tables. Some may also opt to dine al fresco at the terrace where there are purple hand-painted tables as well as comfortable couches.
Big cocoon-style lamps hang from artistically designed ceiling. A fully-loaded bar, on the other hand, complements the wine wall which carries an extensive array of some of the world’s best wines. A glass wall called “Alice in Garlic-land” features a whimsical “through-the-looking-glass” setting.
“Whether it’s roasted, boiled, fried, sautéed or even raw, garlic is a common denominator of food around the world. It is an important ingredient that makes food taste great. And it’s good for your health too,” Chef George concluded.
