Since 2010, the adobo Design Awards has honored the brightest and best talents in contemporary creativity. For 2015, the annual Design Competition organized by the country’s premier advertising and marketing publication is set to surpass last year’s record-breaking edition to highlight state-of-the-art works in print, publishing and advertising.
This year, American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Medal award-winner Lucille Tenazas returns as jury president, overseeing a panel of industry notables and luminaries in judging the entries across 14 categories.
Professional categories include Press & Poster, Corporate or Brand Identity, Typography, Illustration, Publishing, Digital/Interactive, Packaging, Outdoor/Ambient, Environmental/Spatial, Product Design, Wearable Design, Production Design, Video, and Photography.
The Open Category with the theme of ‘Design for the Future’ will also include a Student division, inviting undergraduates of all design disciplines to showcase their most creatively effective solutions for Philippine social issues. Design professionals and freelancers entering new work will be judged separately.
The early bird deadline for submission of entries is February 13, while the final deadline is on February 27, 2015. Early bird entrants will receive a 20% discount on entry fees set at P1,800 for professionals, and P600 for students per entry.
