Ice Beat Factory comes to Manila
Guests have the chance to see an exciting multi-media performance art show as Ice Beat Factory comes to Manila.
Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Ice Beat Factory combines the power and elegance of ice sculpting with energetic live music performed with unique instruments and costumes. Ice Beat Factory has thrilled crowds all over the USA as they performed for gala events in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Milwaukee and more!
Shoppers at Lucky Chinatown can be one of the first to witness this fantastic live ice sculpting performance as Ice Beat Factory stops by Lucky Chinatown on Dec. 7. They can catch either the 2PM or 4PM show. All they have to do is follow Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ Instagram account @megaworldlifestylemalls_ to get free admission. They must then present their smartphone or devices or show any proof that they have followed the account to the event marshals so they can get inside the venue.
A Christmas Musicale, Parades and More
Holiday spirit is in the air at Lucky Chinatown as it hosts yuletide performances, parades and meet and greets.
Shoppers can enjoy holiday music with “A Christmas Musicale” on Dec. 6, 4PM, a beautiful program of yuletide musical performances from the Hope Christian High School Chorale, Youth Gospel Center and the Tiong Se Academy Choir.
Then on Dec. 19, 4PM, guests can watch the Holiday Parade and Fashion Show done in partnership with Metamorphosis Modelling Clinic. They can catch a parade of their favorite Christmas characters around Lucky Chinatown then see the latest holiday styles for kids at a fun fashion show!
Popular Disney characters will also be stopping by Lucky Chinatown at the Disney on Ice: Dare to Dream Meet & Greet on Dec. 21, 6PM. Kids get the chance to meet Mickey and Minnie, the stars of the latest entry in the ever-popular annual Disney on Ice show.
Meet the stars of this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival
Get the chance to meet the stars of the entries to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) as Lucky Chinatown hosts a series of MMFF Mall Shows at the Lucky Chinatown Walk.
On November 30, fans of the long-time horror movie franchise Shake, Rattle and Roll have the chance to meet the stars of the latest entry in the series. Shoppers can see JC De Vera, Khalil Ramos, John Spainhour, Ria Garcia, Nathalie Hart, Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco at the “Shake, Rattle and Roll XV” Mall Show on Nov. 30, 6PM at the Lucky Chinatown Walk.
Then on Dec. 6, shoppers catch Jennylyn Mercado and other stars of the movie “English Only, Please” at a fun-filled mall show, also at 6PM. Created by the same team that brought the hit comedy trilogy “Kimmy Dora”, “English Only, Please” is light-hearted comedy movie featuring the first movie team up of Derek Ramsay and Jennylyn Mercado.
Director Erik Matti’s Kubot is also back in the Metro Manila Film Festival and fans of this comedy-action-horror movie franchise can catch Dingdong Dantes, Isabel Daza, KC Montero, Abra and Julie Anne San Jose at the “Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 2” Mall Show on Dec. 20, 6PM.
Capping off these fantastic holiday attractions is the Holiday Fireworks Display, a spectacle of dazzling lights and music happening 7PM on all weekends of December.
