The Great Mooncake Bake-Off Year 2

Talented bakers around the metro have the chance to demonstrate their baking skills at The Great Mooncake Bake-Off Year 2, which will be held at the Lucky Chinatown Atrium, on Sept. 5, 3PM.

The contest is open to all Filipino citizens, of any age. To join, contestants can download an application form at www.megaworldlifestylemalls.com or at www.facebook.com/luckychinatown .

The registration period will start on Aug. 16, 2014, 10AM and deadline for submission of application forms are on Sept. 2, 5PM.

The Great Mooncake Bake-Off winners can take home great prizes – the first prize winner receives round-trip tickets for two to Cebu plus P20,000, while the second prize winner gets round-trip tickets for two to Puerto Princesa plus P16,000. The third place winner receives round-trip tickets for two to Tagbilaran, Bohol plus P12,000.

Mid-Autumn Dice Game

Those looking for a chance to win great prizes can play the traditional Mid-Autumn Dice Game at Lucky Chinatown on Sept. 6, 4PM. With every roll of the dice, they get the chance to win hotel accommodations at Ramada Manila Central and gift certificates from different Lucky Chinatown establishments. They can also join the Mid-Autumn Raffle to win a round-trip ticket to Shanghai.

Lantern Making Workshop

Kids and families more inclined to try arts and crafts can attend the Lantern Making Workshop conducted by Tiong Se Academy on Sept. 7, 4PM at the Lucky Chinatown Atrium where they can learn how to make their own Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern. This free workshop is targeted for kids aged 10 – 18 years old. Those interested to join the workshop can register at the Lucky Chinatown Concierge.

Take home delicious mooncakes

Those craving a mooncake fix can check out stores selling specialty mooncakes within the Lucky China Town Mall.

King Chef is offering mooncakes in variety of packs ranging from 100 grams to 880 grams; and flavors like taro, red mongo, green mongo, plum, lotus and corn with prices ranging from P400 to P1250.Their pack of 4 Taro, 3 Red Mongo, and 3 Plum mooncakes comes at P560; a pack of 1 lotus with 2 eggs, 2 lotus with 1 egg, 2 corn with cereals, and 3 red mongo mooncakes comes at P1,250; pack of 1 lotus and 1 green mongo comes at P120; pack of 1 red mongo, 1 lotus with egg, 1 plum and 1 green mongo cost at P400; pack of 4 lotus with egg comes at P450; and pack of 4 lotus with 2 eggs comes at P580.

For a minimum P1, 000 single receipt purchase using UnionPay credit card in any of Lucky Chinatown’s establishments from September 1 to 30, 2014, the customer is entitled to one complimentary parking pass.

To get their complementary pass, they can present their receipt during the promo period together with the UnionPay credit card transaction slip (original customer copy) at the Lucky Chinatown Concierge. Complimentary parking pass is valid for the first three hours of parking. Customer will have to shoulder the amount in excess of the first three hours. A fraction of an hour is considered an hour.
