National Student-Investors' Convention (NSInC)
posted on Wednesday, November 11, 2009Ever wonder how to maximize the worth of your money? Ever wonder how you can turn your limited college allowance into a reliable source of income? There may be a lot of answers but there is one thing you can do – INVEST!

In this day and age, college students with relatively limited resources are fortunate enough to have a lot of possible investment venues. Despite this abundance of investment venues, college students often realize that it’s not as easy as it may seem. One might for instance wonder what to invest on.
The Management Economics Organization (MEcO) of the Ateneo de Manila University invites you to participate in a stimulating and strategic event like no other—the National Student Investors Convention (NSINC), an annual activity officially endorsed by the university’s Economics department. This year, NSINC will be held on November 21, 2009 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Leong Hall Auditorium of the Ateneo de Manila University in Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
In accordance with the theme Money MAXSIS: Money Max-out Student Investment Strategies, this convention aims to equip interested students with basic investment know-how, and teach them practical tips for managing and maximizing the limited resources available to most students at this age. Through lectures and open forums, participants will be able to engage directly with authorities in various disciplines, as they tackle investment concepts in relation to their respective fields of expertise: Economy and Socio-Political Environment, Mutual Fund Investments, Stock Trading and Entrepreneurship.
Last year’s convention was a huge success, and we are hoping that this year you will be a part of that same magic. We are expecting about 400 participants from 15 universities across Metro Manila, allotting space for 20-30 students from each invited university. As walk-ins will be admitted into the venue pending the volume of tickets unsold by the invited schools, slot reservation must be done in advance. For details and ticket inquiries, please email NSINC2009@yahoo.com.
