Ribs Sampler

The international restaurant offering this gorgeous gut-busting platter is Morganfield's, a Malaysian brand known for old-fashioned prime pork ribs which they call Sticky Bones — big and juicy slabs of hickory-smoked pork ribs that are slow smoked to give customers their tender and fall-off-the-bone moment that they long for in their ribs. Now, if you're a big group hankering for some great ribs — head to Uptown Mall in BGC to their first outlet in the country so you can meet their Ribs Sampler — the menu says it's enough for 3 to 4 persons, but start chatting about it with their servers and you will discover that it welcomes even more headcount as the serving is massive!

Morganfield's signature dish makes deliciousness come in threes: choose any 3 of their signature Sticky Bones flavors, and they will arrive on a plater, half slab for every flavor. Choose among the following flavors, each very distinct and having their own appeal if you like your meat peppery, spicy, tangy, sweet, etc.: Hickory BBQ Spare Ribs, Garlicky BBQ Spare Ribs, Smoked Peppercorn Spare Ribs, and Spicy Asian BBQ Spare Ribs.

This ginormous platter will fill you and your hungry troops even more — the slabs of ribs will be sitting pretty with assorted grilled sausages: Footlong Farmer's Bratwurst, Spicy Devil, and Herby Hog. It's a rib and sausages sampler, actually — accompanied by garden salad for some greens to lessen the guilt, grilled corn on the cob; warm corn bread and French fries are your starchy sides. Rev up your caveman appetite for this one, folks!
