Now Open in BF Homes: Sinigang Restaurant by Orange Whisk

Formerly Orange Whisk, the new dining concept specializing in traditional Filipino cuisine (with delicious emphasis on a soupy favorite, sinigang) opened last October along Aguirre Avenue.

Formerly dessert and patisserie shop Orange Whisk, the new dining concept specializing in traditional Filipino cuisine (with delicious emphasis on a soupy favorite, sinigang) opened last October along Aguirre Avenue.

Sinigang Restaurant by Orange Whisk is for the sinigang lover in you — in this new restaurant in the south at the foodie strip Aguirre, they feature at least ten different sinigang dishes to choose from. There are many bowls of hearty stew for your picking, strewn with vegetables, and bursting with that distinct sour flavor in every sip.

At Sinigang, each order is good for sharing and comes in two sizes: Regular (good for 2-3 persons) and Family (good for 4-5 persons).  They currently offer the soups that use a variety of souring agents to get that tangy taste: traditional sampaloc (tamarind), bayabas (guava), kamias at calamansi (bilimbi and local lemon), miso, and also batwan (Negrense sour fruit) and bignay (native berry) in off the menu specials — Sinigang na Lechon Bagnet sa Batwan (P350) and Sinigang na Bangus sa Bignay (P265).
