Skull & Bones University Comfort Food is now on its soft opening stage, located at the Katipunan foodie haunt, U.P. Town Center. Skull & Bones offers their own twists to comfort food 'top hits' of the university and student crowds, which is perfect for its location, situated nearby schools and its neighboring villages.

Expect familiar dishes served a little differently, more modern and fun, with Chef Cuit Kaufman in charge of the food. Think diner food meets American favorites, with all day breakfast fare, burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, and Tex-mex dishes.

A look inside Skull & Bones

What we know so far is that Skull & Bones is serving some homemade goodies that will bring you back to those childhood years — sweet stuff like homemade rice crispies, fruit loops, twinkies, raspberry zingers.

In the savory, mouthwatering eats department, this new restaurant has cheesy nachos smothered with pulled pork, corn, and jalapeño, meaty burritos, a double patty burger loaded with bacon, and some good ol' mac 'n cheese. A big discount awaits its first diners, as they are still on soft opening operations. As they are in the phase of getting feedback from its first few customers, hit our comments section to share what your favorite schooltime comfort food eats were! In our list would have to be rice bowls and rice meals, sandwich wraps and shawarma, siomai and street food, cookies and dirty ice cream, and yep, junk food. It would be interesting to have these comfort  foods cravings realized in modern dishes.
