Now Open: Barkin’ Blends Dog Cafe in Quezon City

Manila's first dog cafe allows animal lovers to enjoy a cup of coffee in the company of cute puppies.

After teasing the dog-loving populace with pictures of sleepy puppies in their Facebook page, Barkin' Blends, Manila's first dog cafe, finally opened its doors last September 6, 2014.

Barkin' Blends allows animal lovers to enjoy a cup of coffee in the company of cute puppies. The cafe is separated into two: the Dogs Zone and the Humans Only Zone. To stay in the dog zone for a maximum of two hours, one must pay an admission fee of P180 (fee is inclusive of one drink). Sanitation measures are required before mingling with Barkin' Blends' resident puppies: a Shih Tzu, Golden Retrievers, a pug, a Beagle, a Sharpei, and a Siberian Husky. Visitors are required to follow strict interaction rules for the benefit of both humans and puppies.
