Staple and Perk Bakery is a local bread and pastry brand that started with deliveries from their commissary, and supplying other food establishments with their baked goods. They finally opened their first outlet last month, July.

Staple and Perk is a 24-hour bakery and cafe along Pasong Tamo extension, a new perk-me-up spot for night owls craving for breakfast fare and pastries, and anyone needing a kick of coffee late at night or during wee hours of the morning (because there are times where the need for caffeine knows no hours).

The bakery boasts of freshly baked goodness served daily, showcasing a menu of toasts, sandwiches, braised meats, and salads as their Staples. A must-try at Staple and Perk pastry is the Profiterole, as their version of the cream puff is made and served fresh, is all-natural, and without preservatives. All the braises served in this cafe are cooked in their hot oven stone until tender, and the meats come with savory sauces perfect to mop up with a piece of their bread.

Set Combos of Sandwiches (P100-P200) and Braises (P180-P260) are priced reasonably, as they come with a Perk Cooler (a fizzy Italian soda), and the Braises set combo also come with a side salad.

For the Perks part of their menu, there are many kinds of beverages to choose from: they have hot drinks and iced versions, ice blended drinks, specialty teas. You can choose to pair your pastry with a classic cup of Cappuccino (P90 Regular / P105 Large) or Hot Chocolate (P105 Regular / P120 Large), or have a heavier drink with an Ice Blended Cookies & Cream Perk (P130) or Banana & Peanut Butter Perk (P130).
