About the Event
"UP Kadara Capoeira Diliman (UP KCD) is a capoeira organization affiliated with Associação Kadara Capoeira.
KADARA is a word from the Yoruba people of Africa meaning DESTINY, and we choose our destiny to be Capoeira, to do good things, and to contribute positively to humanity through it.
Capoeira is a unique sport that incorporates both offensive and defensive moves interwoven with each other by means of graceful fluid movements set into music.
Come (vamos) and experience (sentir) capoeira with us in the whole-day workshop which aims to promote capoeira by teaching your the music, the culture, and the movements necessary to get you started in your capoeira journey!
