About the Event
The Philippine Association of Central Services and Sterilization Management (PACSSM) invites everyone to join “Patakbo 2016. A Cause. A Sprint. In Support of Children.” happening at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City on November 27, 2016. Buzz time starts at 5:30 a.m.
This cause-oriented event will help fund skills training programs for healthcare workers aimed at raising local standards in instrument reprocessing, sterilization and infection control. This is in response to the high incidence of healthcare acquired infections that affect as much as 20 out of 100 hospitalized patients, including newborn.
Part of the proceeds will be donated to World Vision, an international child-focused organization. This event is presented in partnership with Alpha Sigma Fraternity (UP-Diliman Chapter) and Pollax Events Management.
Race categories include 2.2K, 4.4K and 6.6K while registration costs Php 700, Php 800 and Php 900, respectively. Participants may also join Zumba sessions to be facilitated at the AS Parking Lot (in front of Palma Hall), and listen to informative presentations about healthcare sterilization and supplies management. Race Kits include singlet, bib and wristlet. All winners will receive a cash prize and medal.
