About the Event

The team behind “Lakbay2Love” is set to go on another journey back to the place where it all started, at the UP Diliman campus where the environmentally-themed film will have a screening on July 30, Saturday.

Partnering with Greenpeace Philippines, a major global advocate of environmental protection and conservation through changed mindsets, “Lakbay2Love” presents to viewers marvelous sights and sceneries such as the breathtaking view of Benguet, and rare lush forests and greeneries of Rizal and La Mesa Nature Reserve. “Lakbay2Love” is the first biking feature film in local cinema that seeks to promote biking as a good mode of transportation not just to explore nature but also to take care of it.

Viewers get to have an audience with “Lakbay2Love” director, Ellen Marfil, for a Q&A that will take place in between the two screenings, 3 pm and 5 pm, on July 30, 2016.

Proceeds will go towards protecting oceans and forests, promoting clean water, safe food, and renewable energy, and fighting climate change. Joining in this advocacy are Firefly Brigade and Tiklop Society of the Philippines and as event partner, Recreational Outdoor Exchange (R.O.X.).

Tickets are priced at P100 only. Greenpeace volunteers and active donors get special discount rate. To register, go to http://bit.ly/L2L_registration
