About the Event
Eugene Cubillo : Encounters. The collection features a number of moving and sentimental portraits and figures rendered in mixed media to address different issues in a story telling manner and in used playing cards -- building upon the symbolism of life as the eternal wager, and the uncertainty that makes every decision a never-ending gamble, the artist has elevating the playing cards from being an element of the artwork to being its very foundation.
In this matter the medium, became the vehicle for his message. “Encounters,” will be unveiled to the public on June 29, 2016 and will be on display until July 13, 2016 at Galerie Anna 4th floor, Building A, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.
