About the Event
For the first time in 22 years, Becarios de Santo Tomas, the Sole Thomasian Scholars Association, will look back to the BeST years that passed, and reminisce the BeST moments that transpired in its Alumni Scholars’ Homecoming titled Nostalgia: Reminiscing the BeST Years.
Becarios has been faithful in living out its mission of producing scholars who will be successful in their respective fields. As it journeys toward another decade, Becarios aims to gather its alumni scholars to revisit the triumphs they had during their stay in the university, and this homecoming will serve as an acknowledgement of their contributions to the successes of the organization today. More than these, one of the highlights of the event is its Community Development project. A portion of the registration fee will be allotted to the BUTIL Project, which is a project that sends more than 75 underprivileged but deserving children to the public schools in the partner communities of the university. The amount that will be collected will be used to send 3 additional BUTIL scholars to school. This will be the alumni’s way of giving back to the university and, ultimately, to the community.
