About the Event

To celebrate National Heritage Month, the University of the Philippines Museum of a History of Ideas is inviting 40 children along with their guardians to spend the hot summer afternoon of May 21st from 1:00 PM til 3:00 PM for a relaxing, enjoyable and informative to celebrate National Heritage Month.

Baging, Saging, Matsing: Mga Kuwentong pang Tsikiting is a storytelling session which will showcase selected traditional and urban stories to children ages 3 to 10. This will be held at the UPM-MHI Building, Philippine General Hospital Compound Padre Faura Street, Ermita, Manila.

The museum believes that by starting to introduce Filipino literature, images and values while they are young will be beneficial for their development as Filipino individuals.

A minimal fee of P150 per child accompanied by a guardian will be required. This includes admission fees to the museum, guided tour, the storytelling event and some refreshments for the kids.
