About the Event

The Union of Journalists of the Philippines - UP (UJP-UP) will hold its annual photojournalism contest Mulat Maninipat from February 9 to March 11.

This year's theme, entitled Halalan sa Larawan, will allow contestants to represent through photographs different sides of the election season, be it the campaign period or relevant social issues, and prove how these things matter to the crucial decision Filipinos will face this May 2016.

This contest is open for college students nationwide. The organization believes in the power of the youth and their crucial role in changing society.
