Seoul Invasion at the Aliw Theater

Five of the hottest new K-Pop bands are invading Manila for one giant K-Pop concert on February 9, 2013.

Tahiti, Excite, A-Prince, Delight, and Mellow:D converge in a power-packed one-night- only concert at the Aliw Theater on Saturday, February 9 at 7:00 p.m. Presented by CNI Productions, the concert, aptly titled Seoul Invasion, rides on the current K-Pop craze that has hit young people not just in the Philippines but all over the world.

The all-female group Tahiti was introduced to the public through a pre-debut documentary called, "Ta-dah! It's TAHITI." They gained a lot of attention as the girls showed their looks, talent, and individuality. Over the past several months since their stage debut last July, their e-book has been once of the most popular sites among young people.

Excite, on the other hand, debuted last October with the song “Try Again.” Originally packaged upon a concept of mystique, the group was reformatted and is now known for their bubbly personality.

A-Prince evolved from the original six-member ensemble called Taken. Comprised of members Sung Won, Taehyuk, Min Hyuk, Seung Jun, and Si Yoon, they also have a debut album to their credit called “Hello.”

Delight has been around since 2009, making their presence felt in the music scene primarily through their album Hedgehog’s Dilemna. They are a mixed group with two male, and two female members.

Mellow:D is a female rap group whose debut song “Bowwow” captured the fancy of audiences as a dance track on music video. Since then, they have gained ground both on their home turf as well as in other parts of Asia.
