Instead of High School Musical... why can't they produce a new musical play with a NEW story which CAN be MORE interesting than high school musical....

Yeah I agree. The idea of a HSM play is not impressive at all. Honestly speaking, it's kinda disappointing. Obviously not much creativity was needed here... all they had to do was imitate the movie/concert. I mean if I just wanted to see HSM I would just watch the original movie now wouldn't I?

it is indeed disappointing. ubos na ba originality ng mga pinoy? i have nothing against the cast. sam concepcion is phenomenal.

but.c'mooOoon... wala na bang bago? yung mga rip-off ng mga american movies na lang ba ang laging ibebenta sa masa?

we should know better than to stick to the rip-off-the-americans formula. sam should be given more challenging roles, he's way too talented for this.

Someone commented, why they can 't produce something else! I"ll answer why -- because its also good for my fellow filipinos to see how a Philippine production is made! I reside in New York and will have our vacation in the Philippines for 3 glorious weeks and I will definitely go to Meralco theater with my kids to see this show!

I have seen the High School Musical on stage at the American Airlines Theater here in New York (located in Manhattan). It was very good! This July , we will be having our vacation in the Philippines for 3 exciting weeks and definitely I will be taking my kids to see this Philippine version of the show! This is also a chance for other Filipinos to witness this show if they have not seen the American version here in New York.

helllllooooo. HSM On Stage is just one of those many theaters trying to put this on stage. It's legal and it's part of Disney's effort to stage this worldwide.

i just watched it today! so cool. me and my friends went crazy. my friend's friend won the back stage theater pass and she went in. unfair! but we saw the cast in the parking lot and got their photos and aughtographs! :D

1 word. it sucks! the original HSM movie is way more better than this filipino version. by the way. all the cast here are all trying hard.
