Each short play involves a different kind of journey. The comedic “Manos” (written by young playwright and director, Palanca awardee BJ Crisostomo) shows viewers the various struggles that crop up in the course of production work. The silent and solemn “The Void” zeroes in on the experiences of an outcast as he rides the bumps and cracks of a hostile social environment. The third play, “Penitensya” (also written by BJ Crisostomo) explores the themes of suffering, knowledge, bliss, and ignorance through an unending cycle of violence and bloodshed. The last play, an untitled piece finds characters in their quest to answer the question: How does one know what is real and unreal?
