This year is a year of firsts for the Commonwealth Education Fair. Traditionally the Commonwealth Education Fair has been held in Manila and Cebu, annually, this year Study International will be bringing the fair to Davao city as well. It will be the first time that the Commonwealth Education will be held in Davao.

The fair will begin in Cebu on November 17, 2009 at the Cebu City Sports Club and will continue on to Davao City on November 18, 2009 at the Marco Polo Davao before finally landing on Manila on the 19th of November 2009 at the Renaissance New World Hotel.



It is also the first year that Study International will be organizing the event alongside its partner organizations- British Council, Austrade, Canadian Trade Commissioner Service, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and Singapore Tourism Board. Study International will be bringing in representatives from various institutions from Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand and the UK to speak to Filipinos who want to study abroad and get an internationally recognized degree whether a bachelors or a post-graduate one. It is an opportunity to get answers to all your questions on studying abroad and get qualified information on the application process, cost of living and tuition, courses and opportunities that await international students.

The goal of the Commonwealth Education fair is to develop and grow the global education market in the Philippines by providing Filipinos with quality affordable education and offer Filipino students who are aiming to complete their studies abroad, a wide range of options to choose from.

The Philippine Red Cross will also be present for the event, in all three cities, to accept donations for the victims of typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng.
