Brought to life by first-time actors and newbie directors, Playfest 2k9 continues The Guild’s search for new Lasallian talent in acting, directing and playwriting.

The DLSU Chamber Ensemble is the official string and woodwind ensemble of De La University - Manila. It is a duly-recognized and accredited performing arts group of the University, under the direct supervision of the Cultural Arts Office. This non-profit organization plays a wide variety of classical genre starting from classical, widening to Broadway, jazz and other contemporaries. The DLSU Chamber Ensemble is able to express their musical talents through major and minor concerts, recitals, performance requests, campus tours, and other similar events.

'Cuffed: Bid and Bond for a Cause

'Cuffed is a fund raising event for "Tulong sa Kapwa Kapatid", an Non-Government Organization that supports the education of the kids of Payatas. The event will consist of a fashion show sponsored by Lee Jeans and an athlete's auction, where in the athletes of DLSU-Manila will be up for bidding to the audience of the event. The highest bidder for each athlete will have the chance to bond with him or her and be handcuffed for one hour. Both proceeds from the ticket sales and the auction will be donated to "Tulong sa Kapwa Kapatid."
